Great Read...I am looking for the right guitar course to purchase and was about to buy The Beginner's Guide to Unlocking the Guitar  but now after reading this i am going to look for an article that has more video lessons.  hands on for me.

Peter, this is great and I think I will check out the guitar courses online -- I personally have not an ounce of musical talent but my 9 year old would as would my husband. Thanks for this article!
